Lahore is my favorite city. It is the capital of Province Punjab situated in Pakistan. It is the city of gardens. For hundreds of years Mughal Emperors ruled this country. They made very beautiful buildings and parks in Lahore. While you will see some steel structure designs in the city, they have kept them all in one area.
Talking of gardens, I have to mention Shalamar garden, Chouburji building and Jahangir’s Tomb. Although it has been almost 150 years passed since Mughal Emperors left Lahore, but still I can see and feel those historical moments by visiting these places. After Mughals, British Queen ruled my country and they went back in 1947. But still we find lot of buildings that reminds us the British architectural work. Some of them are, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Punjab University Old Campus, Lahore Railway Station, Lahore Zoo, and Lahore Museum. By the passage of time Lahore has a population consisting more than 10 million people. It is the city of opportunities. People from all over Pakistan come here to seek job and earning opportunities. Link Multan Road, Link Ferozpur Road, Mall Road, are very famous roads of this city. Some of its modern parks developed after 1947 are, Model Town Park, Nawaz Sharif Park, Lahore Park, and Jallo Park. It is called as city of food lovers too. It has many hotels and restaurants. People of Lahore love to eat in restaurants. Here too many people are earning by establishing a food business. I am lucky enough that I am living in such a beautiful city. In my view Lahore is the best city amongst all the cities of Pakistan. |

If there is a place where I do not like going shopping at all is the mall. But I have to because of my young sister whom if I do not take, strange boys that I do not even know about will take her to the mall instead. Half of them do not even have driving licenses and if they have then that means that those are older boys who like taking advantage of younger girls. If my best friend who loves shopping at the mall, then she takes my baby sister. When it comes to where I do shopping, I just give the girls a list of what I need and they get it for me. At the gym, other men complain about taking the women in their lives to the mall shopping. One of them said that he does online shopping via eBay.
