If you own more than 20 pairs of shoes then it is more practical to have a shoe cabinet installed in your home. These cabinets can keep all your pairs of shoes neatly organized and all in one place. It will make it easier for you to get your shoes whenever you need them. You do have to make some painstaking planning before you have this kind of shoe storage made. You can buy some ready made cabinets from the store but then sometimes it could either be too big or too small for your available space at home.
There are a lot of things to consider before you invest in this kind of shoe storage. Determine how many pairs of shoes you really intend to keep and keep on using. Throw away old and broken pairs of shoes that you no longer need. The amount of shoes you still own will help you decide on the side of the cabinet you need.
Find the right location where you will install your cabinet. It should be at a place where you can easily grab your shoes on your way out of the house. Most preferably you can place these cabinets near the front door or by the stairway.
