E-commerce and Online Deal Sites

With so many alternatives to ebay, there are so many great deals online, and I have a compulsion to check them all each day. My favourites are Slickdeals.net, Groupon.com, and SteepandCheap.com. I also have recently been looking at livingsocial.com. I try to only buy something if I was thinking about buying it anyway. In the past month, I've found a $20 Amazon gift card for $10, $40 at ShoeBuy.com for only $20, a cheap HDMI cable, a nice new laptop for $370, and a lot of other things I couldn't order because I couldn't convince my wife. I even ordered a 60GB PS3 Console for $39.99 through Amazon, shipped by Target. Turns out they made a pricing mistake, and they e-mailed me saying they couldn't fulfill my order. Even with the deal sites, some deals are still just too good to be true. That's the downfall of using deal sites, everyone swamps the deal and it gets taken down fast. But that just makes me check the sites more to see if something new is up so I can buy it before it's gone. However, reading the "dead" deals sometimes makes me kick myself for not getting in on it before it expires.
